Studying in France
French universities are particularly remarkable for their very moderated studying fees that do not exceed 400 Euros by year. This is due to the fact that the Government takes into charge a major part of the effective expenses, on an equal footing, between French and foreigners.
The European L-M-D System is applied in the majority of French universities. This system consists of three stages: Bachelor’s degree (three years), Masters degree (two years) and PhD (three years). However, it should be noted that this system does not apply to some specialities such as medicine (seven years).
On the other hand, admission conditions are not complicated, since it is sufficient that the candidate has his baccalaureate and speaks French.
