Under H.E the Ambassador’s patronage, the 2nd gathering of Bahraini Students in London held
Under the kind auspices of His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, the second gathering of Bahraini students studying in the UK was organized by the Cultural Attaché in London on Friday.
During the gathering which started with the performance of the National Anthem, H.E the Ambassador delivered a statement in which he welcomed the Bahraini students and congratulated them on the start of the new academic year.
He also encouraged them to study hard and affirmed the important role they will play in the Kingdom’s future in all sectors and on all levels, wishing them every academic success.
Then, Cultural Advisor Mani’e Ahmed expressed his thanks and appreciation to the embassy for supporting and sponsoring cultural activities and stressed the keenness of the Cultural section to make every effort to provide students with the necessary support and services as they progress towards their academic goals and promised to tackle any obstacles they may encounter while striving to attain their educational and academic goals.
The gathering witnessed an the delivery of an awareness-raising lecture in cooperation with Kaplan International Institute while a poem was read by student Abdulrahman Al Midfa’a and ended with a raffle on two airline tickets presented by Gulf air.
The students expressed delight over the meeting which they said was an important opportunity for them to strengthen the bridges of communications and avail of each other’s experience.
