All visitors who require a visa must have a valid passport. Visitors continuing their journey within 24 hours, holding confirmed tickets and appropriate travel documents, will be issued a 24-hour visa on arrival. Visitors who hold valid Saudi Arabia residence permits will be issued a free 2-week visa. Applications may be submitted either in person or by mail with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Visa Requirements

For U.S. Passport Holders
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Completed Visa Application Form
  • Letter from company/applicant stating the reason and duration of visit
  • One passport size photo
 
For Non-U.S. Passport Holders
  • Valid Passport
  • Completed Visa Application Form
  • Letter from company/applicant stating the reason and duration of visit
  • One passport size photo
  • The applicant must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Immigration Department in Bahrain through an employer, agent or relative residing in Bahrain. (See list of NOC exempted countries below)

All documents submitted to the Consulate must be in original form.

Applications may be submitted either in person or by mail with a self-addressed stamped envelope enclosed.

Fees 
U.S. Money Order or Certified Checks payable to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

  • Single Entry: valied for 3 months, 1 entry, 1 to 14 days stay
    US$ 30.00
  • Multiple Entry: valied for 5 years, 1 to 28 days stay
    US$ 50.00
