The Ambsr. of Bahrain to Egypt commends the Arab honoring of the(SCW President for her efforts in empowerment of women
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Arab Republic of Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President for being honored in recognition of her efforts in empowerment of Arab women, in general, and Bahraini women, in particular, as have been illustrated by the international reports and indices that put the Kingdom of Bahrain on equal foot with the developed countries.
He pointed out that the honoring of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa by the Arab League represented by its Secretary General is a recognition of success and excellence, and a track record of national and international achievements and accomplishments. It also reflects HRH belief in the achievement of sustainable development in line with implementation of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women blessed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in 2013.
Moreover, he expressed his pride of launching HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa's prize for women empowerment at the international level in collaboration with the United Nations, and Her Royal Highness patronage of Arab woman to improve her chances in a better life.
Shaikh Rashid underlined that the outstanding achievements and the qualitative contributions realized under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa to the (SCW), her prominent role in the empowerment of Bahraini women, establishment of equal opportunities in all fields, and forging partnerships with international organizations received the Arab and International respect and appreciation as well as demonstrated the advancement of women in the framework of a comprehensive and evolving reform project of His Majesty the King.
