Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Iraq.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership to Dr. Haider Al-Abadi and wished success upon the Republic of Iraq.

He also praised the brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq and the keenness to expand the frameworks of cooperation and joint coordination between the two brotherly countries in all fields to achieve their interests and benefit its people.

For his part, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi stressed the pride of the Republic of Iraq in the brotherly relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is based on a long history of relations between the two brotherly peoples that form a solid basis to strengthen these relations at various levels.

He stressed that the stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its brotherly countries is the stability of the Republic of Iraq, noting the need for joint Arab action in the face of various challenges.

He also expressed his sincere appreciation for the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the Iraqi government's continued efforts to combat terrorism, which has achieved significant success in liberating the city of Mosul from ISIS.

He also reiterated the Kingdom's support for the Republic of Iraq in the face of terrorism and supports all its efforts to stabilize security and stability throughout Iraq.
