Functioning under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Jusoor program was established to address matters that concern lady diplomats. The programme works on two levels: The first is related to lady diplomats or the wives of diplomats assigned to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and seeks to assist in their orientation to the culture, heritage and achievements of the Kingdom. The second level addresses the orientation and preparation of lady diplomats of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and seeks to improve their conduct to a level that truly reflects the image of the modern Bahraini woman.
The Kingdom of Bahrain appointed Lady Diplomats Programme:
Goals:

  • Establish a society for lady diplomats appointed to the Kingdom, and the wives of diplomats.
  • Introduce members to the local culture, heritage, and national achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Create social and networking opportunities to assist member's blend into Bahraini society.

The Bahraini Lady Diplomats Programme:
Goals:

  • Establish a society for the wives of Bahraini diplomats in order to facilitate the development of a community.
  • Develop linguistic skills through a series of programmes and lectures. 
  • Provide support that helps members adopt to their new societies while on diplomatic missions in foreign countries

Shaikha Wesal Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, wife of the Minister Of Foreign Affairs, President of Jusoor program, distributed certificates to participants in the English language course organized by the Program in collaboration with the British Council for a group of wives of diplomats affiliated with the ministry.
She praised the posts during a ceremony hosted by the Council on this occasion the level of the session and stressed the importance of such courses in the development of communication skills and rapid integration into new communities, as Abidin Iajabehn professionalism of teachers and teaching methods used at the center.

Supreme Council for Women organized a special meeting for the wives of Bahraini diplomatics.
