Bahraini Ambassador to USA chairs a workshop
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, chaired a workshop at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of a number of government and private agencies’ representatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain and relevant stakeholders associated with the American markets.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Bahrain Exports Company, Bahrain Financial Technology Company, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other parties, to discuss their strategies and policies related to the US markets.
His Excellency discussed with the concerned authorities the embassy’s annual plan to increase trade exchange between the two countries, identify new investment opportunities, the private sector links to the United States of America, the embassy’s efforts and contributions to attract foreign direct investment, and expand commercial relations between communities of small and medium enterprises.
For their part, the representatives discussed their most important outcomes and identified appropriate policies and strategies for them.
In conclusion, the Ambassador praised the participants for their contribution to realizing the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to expand economic cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States.
