Consulate General of Kingdom of Bahrain in Mumbai holds celebration marking National Days
The Consulate General of Kingdom of Bahrain in Mumbai held a reception ceremony marking the Kingdom’s national days on 16 and 17 December, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne.
The Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Mumbai, Ali Abdulaziz Al-Balushi, expressed congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the occasion.
During the ceremony, the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of India were reviewed.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Economic Development Board Office and representatives of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority as well as the Gulf Aviation Office in Mumbai. The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Director of Protocol in the Maharashtra government of India, a number of government officials and heads of consular missions in Mumbai, as well as a number of citizens.
