Please note that nationals of 67 countries are eligible to receive a Visa upon arrival to Bahrain International Airport (All visas require a fee to be paid).
You should check your eligibility for a Bahrain visa and submit your application through the e-Visa website.
Apply for Visa
The following applying options are available through the E-visa website:
• "Internet" means that you can apply directly to the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (NPRA) using the e-visa website and pay online.
• "On Arrival" means that you can travel to Bahrain without a visa and apply for one at the border.
• "Via Embassy" means that your application will be processed by the Embassy after its submission, and you will be asked to pay the fees directly to the Embassy through one of the two below available options.
“Via Embassy” Visa Collection:
When your visa application (Via the Embassy) is approved, you will receive an email instructing you to visit the Embassy in London to pay the relevant visa fee.
You can visit the Embassy’s Consular Section during its opening hours (no appointment is needed) to collect your visa – please bring your application reference number when you visit. The fee(s) will be paid to the Embassy cashier on the day, prior to collection. At the moment, the Embassy only accept cash payments.
Once this fee is paid, the visa will be granted. Note that this fee must be paid within 30 days of the approval, or else the visa will be cancelled.
“Via Embassy” Out of London Visa Collection:
If you out of London, then you can request making the payment via a bank transfer by sending an email to email@example.com with your reference number and contact information. In the email please state that you would like to make a payment via a bank transfer, and an Embassy officer will get in touch with you as soon as possible with detailed instructions. Once the payment is received, the visa will be granted and it will be emailed to you.
