Under the Patronage of Sh. Fawaz, the Cultural Attaché in London holds 1st Annual Meet for Bahraini students in UK
Under the auspices of Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Cultural Attaché in London has organized the 1st Annual Meeting of the 2016-2017 Academic Year for Bahraini students studying in the United Kingdom.
During the meeting which was attended by a large number of students, Ambassador Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, delivered a statement in which he congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and prodded them to study hard, affirming the future role of Bahraini students in nation-building in all fields and wishing them every success.
Then, Cultural Advisor Mani’e Ahmed, delivered a statement in which he expressed thanks and appreciation to the Embassy for supporting and sponsoring cultural activities and vowed that the cultural section would spare no effort to provide students with the necessary support and to eliminate any obstacles that may encounter them in their endeavors to realize their academic goals.
In their turn, the students have uttered delight to have attend the meeting as they regarded it an important opportunity for them to extend the bridges of communications and avail of each other’s experience.
This gathering, held in the British city of Leeds, is part of a series of encounters scheduled for this month in a number of U.K. cities, in prospect of strengthening the social bonds among the Bahraini students, getting them to know each other and helping them exchange expertise in addition to familiarizing them with the role and services of the Cultural Section.
