Bahrain Ambassador in London hosts luncheon for APPG Chairman and members
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, HE Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, hosted a luncheon in London for the Chairman and members of the UK-Bahrain All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG). The Ambassador welcomed APPG members, praising the historical friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, stressing that the relations between the two kingdoms have strategic dimensions and are built on solid foundations and a long history that has contributed to supporting common visions towards more bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various fields.
He also stressed the vital and important role played by APPG in promoting bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries at all levels, noting the importance of continuing to research aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and ways to develop partnership, in a way that promotes security and stability, adding that he looked forward to more meetings with the group to achieve those common goals.
APPG Chairman and member of the British House of Commons, Colonel Bob Stewart, praised the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, expressing his appreciation to the Ambassador for his interest in developing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, noting his keenness to promote cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Britain in various fields.
He lauded the achievements of Bahrain, especially in the field of peaceful coexistence between religions, adding that the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading beacon in this field in the Middle East. He also said he looked forward to introducing members of the Parliament to the Kingdom of Bahrain closely, through trips to Bahrain in the near future.
