President of Republic of Iraq receives Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain in Baghdad
The President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih, received today in Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq, Salah Ali Al-Malki, on the occasion of resuming his duties in the city of Baghdad.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the President, and his wishes of progress and prosperity to the President and the brotherly Republic of Iraq.
Ambassador Salah Ali Al-Malki expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic of Iraq for the efforts exerted by the Iraqi Government on the attack on the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Republic of Iraq, praising the keenness of the Republic of Iraq on protecting its diplomatic missions and embassies, making it easier for them to carry out their tasks.
For his part, the President of Iraq entrusted the Ambassador with conveying his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressing his thanks for the position of His Majesty the King and his permanent support to the Republic of Iraq and his wise handling of the attack on the Kingdom's embassy building in Baghdad, commending the keenness of His Majesty the King to further consolidate bilateral relations in all fields. He also welcomed the Ambassador’s resumptions of his tasks, wishing him continued success and for the Kingdom of Bahrain further development.
