As chair of GCC Ambassadors meeting.. Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain in Brussels discusses means to enhance cooperation with EU
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Brussels, accredited to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of Denmark and Representative to the European Union and NATO, H.E. Dr. Bahia Jawad Al-Jishi, chaired the periodic meeting of the Council of Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium.
During the meeting, the Ambassador affirmed the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as the current presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in developing relations with Europe, as it is one of the pillars of international policy, noting that views were exchanged on strengthening Gulf-European relations.
The GCC Ambassadors accredited in Brussels discussed the aspects of cooperation and coordination they reached through continuous dialogue with the European External Action Service at the European Commission and the European Parliament.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent developments on the regional and European arenas and the relations of joint cooperation between the GCC countries and the EU with all its institutions and ways to strengthen and develop them to serve the common interests.
