Ambassador-Designate of Kingdom of Bahrain to Arab Republic of Egypt: celebrating International Day of Conscience strengthens Kingdom’s international status
The Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowdar, stated that the initiative of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, which was endorsed by the United Nations to celebrate the International Day of Conscience on 5 April annually, contributes to reinforcing all efforts aimed to serve humanity and peace.
He affirmed that the initiative comes in line with the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote the values of tolerance, coexistence peace and sustainable development.
He also expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister for his continued efforts and initiatives which contributed to strengthening the Kingdom’s status at the international level and highlighting its achievements in the fields of combatting all forms of discrimination, violence and terrorism, as well as serving the goals of sustainable development.
Al-Jowdar noted that the initiative also serves as a call to the international community to shoulder its responsibility in facing and overcoming the challenges and hardships faced by the people of the world.
On the occasion, Al-Jowdar expressed his sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister on his recovery and safe return to the Kingdom, wishing him abundant health and success.
