Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain in Cairo: 157 Bahraini citizens and students return home today
157 Bahraini citizens and students return to Bahrain today, Monday, 27 April 2020, from the Arab Republic of Egypt, within the framework of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to face the repercussions of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to provide all means of support for Bahraini citizens wishing to come back home, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder followed up on the procedures to ensure the return of citizens at the airport in Cairo.
He also stated that the Kingdom's embassy in Cairo is working around the clock to monitor the conditions of all Bahraini citizens present in various areas in Egypt, praising the great cooperation shown by the brothers in the Arab Republic of Egypt to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens to the Kingdom. He also added that the Embassy received support from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other various competent authorities, praising the efforts of all Embassy employees to facilitate the procedures for the return of citizens, wishing health and safety for all.
