Moscow-based Bahraini Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina meets Former President in Sarajevo
Moscow-based Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati today with former President Haris Silajdžić in Sarajevo.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Saati praised the friendly cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Bosnia and Herzegovina and their progress and development at all levels, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.
For his part, Former President Silajdžić entrusted the Ambassador with conveying his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and reiterated his pride in the honorable stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of his people during the Balkan War in the 1990s.
He said Bahrain’s supportive stance had greatly mobilized international support to end the war and push for recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence at the United Nations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they also discussed a number of other topics of common interest.
