Kingdom of Bahrain Ambassador to Sultanate of Oman receives UNFPA representative to GCC countries
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al-Ka’abi, received in his office at the Embassy’s headquarters the Representative of the United Nations Population Fund to GCC countries, Karl Kulessa.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ka’abi welcomed Mr. Kulessa, expressing his pride in the cooperation relations with the UNFPA and its development in the benefit of mutual interests, wishing him further success.
The Ambassador also reviewed Bahrain’s most prominent achievements in population, youth development, gender equality and women empowerment.
For his part, Representative Kulessa reviewed the activities and tasks of the Fund, expressing his aspiration to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and meet with officials in order to promote bilateral cooperation for the sake of common aspirations.
The two sides also discussed a number of topics of common concern during the meeting.
