Bahrain Consul General in Jeddah Kaaba washing ceremony and praises services in the two Holy Mosques as advanced
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prince of Makkah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz, had the honor to oversee the Kaaba washing ceremony which was held in the presence of a number of members of the Islamic diplomatic corps and Saudi officials.
The Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Jeddah, Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Muslamani, joined the accredited members of the Islamic Diplomatic Corps to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, officials and guests in attending the ceremony on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, which witnessed the washing of the Kaaba from the inside and cleaning its outside walls with a mixture of Zamzam and rose waters.
The Consul General expressed his deep pride and appreciation for the high interest accorded to the Holy sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to facilitate Hajj and Umrah performance.
It is worth noting that the washing of the Kaaba is a noble prophetic tradition of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of God be upon him) who first washed it with his companions on the first day of the conquest of Makkah to purify it, and ever since, the washing has been done once a year in Muharram, using a mixture of Zamzam and rose waters.
