Bahrain Ambassador to Washington receives Chair of US Commission on International Religious Freedom
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received at the Embassy premises in Washington Chairman of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Tony Perkins and the Committee members accompanying him, to learn about the results of their last visit to the Kingdom.
The Ambassador welcomed the guests, appreciating their recent visit to Manama, which he considered a positive step in identifying the Kingdom of Bahrain's pioneering model in the field of peaceful coexistence and consolidation of the values of tolerance, pluralism and citizenship under the comprehensive reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He stressed that the embassy is seeking to enhance cooperation with the committee, based on their common interest to consolidate religious freedom.
Perkins praised the cooperation provided by the Embassy to the Committee and its response to its efforts to promote religious freedoms, looking forward to more fruitful and effective cooperation between the two sides.
