Non-Resident Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain to Canada participates in symposium on Abraham Accords Principles
The Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Canada, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated as a speaker in a virtual event on the Abraham Accords Principles, with the participation of the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Canada, Fahad bin Saeed Al-Raqbani.
Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla noted that importance of signing the Abraham Accords in enhancing peace and prosperity in the region as a whole, adding that it provides a framework for cooperation among various countries of the region.
The Ambassador affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain's national position remains firm in supporting the Palestinian people and commitment to the two-state solution, including the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, adding that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Israel will contribute to creating more channels for dialogue.
He stressed that the reform approach of His Majesty the King, and the foreign policy of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain tirelessly seek to maintain regional and international security and peace.
