Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain to United States of America meets Washington Intergovernmental Professional Group delegation


The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, H.E. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, received a delegation from the Washington Intergovernmental Professional Group, headed by Mr. Nelson Garcia. The meeting aimed at strengthening relations between the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and civil society institutions and was attended by a number of prominent figures and businessmen. 
H.E. the Ambassador praised the role of WIPG President in the success of the group and maintaining the strength of the relationship between the two sides. He also noted the importance of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a prominent strategic ally of the US.
The Ambassador highlighted the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030. He also noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain aims to achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2060, as recently announced by the cabinet headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
H.E. stressed the strength of the Bahrain-US partnership and its contribution to advancing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as evidenced by the establishment of a US trade zone in the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance economic, commercial and industrial cooperation within the framework of the free trade agreement concluded between the two countries.
