Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain to United States of America participates in Ambassadors Forum organized by IISS

  The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, H.E. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated in the Ambassadors Forum organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in Washington, DC.  

The Ambassador delivered a speech in which he highlighted the strategic partnership and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America in many fields. He also noted the prominent role played by the US in promoting security, peace and stability in the region.  

H.E. affirmed the openness of the economic environment enjoyed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, referring to the recent announcement of the economic recovery plan, which comes in line with the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Price and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which calls for creating promising job opportunities, facilitating commercial procedures and increasing their effectiveness, implementing major development projects, and developing promising sectors to ensure financial sustainability.  

He also reviewed the achievements made during the first year of signing the Declaration of Support for Peace with the State of Israel within the framework of the Abraham Accords, which included the signing of 15 memoranda of understanding and 4 agreements in many different fields, including the political, economic, commercial, cultural and tourism.
