Foreign Minister meets Sudanese Foreign Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Political Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, reiterated Bahrain's firm stance in support of the brotherly Republic of the Sudan and all efforts exerted by the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of the Sudan, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, in order to preserve its sovereignty, security and stability and meet the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for development and prosperity.

This came during a meeting with the Assistant Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Sudan, Ambassador Ilham Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the 15th Manama Dialogue Conference.

The Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Ilham Ibrahim, expressing Bahrain's pride in the brotherly relations with the Sudan and its keenness to enhance these relations in all fields for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.

For her part, Ambassador Ilham Ibrahim expressed appreciation for the brotherly stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the Sudan and its efforts to overcome this period and enhance security and stability, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
