Assistant Foreign Minister highlights Bahraini diplomacy efforts
The Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, delivered a lecture today to a number of officials from the Ministry of Interior on the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of human rights.
The Assistant Foreign Minister commended the Kingdom's development in the field of human rights, stressing that Bahraini diplomacy has worked and is still working to protect the rights and interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and contribute to all efforts aimed at achieving stability and enhancing security.
The Assistant Foreign Minister affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain guarantees all human rights without exception, with justice and equality, reviewing the Kingdom's legal obligations that are based on respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. He added that the Kingdom has taken all the appropriate measures to protect these rights and ensure that they are not violated.
He stated that the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Government's Action Plan 2019-2022, focus on protecting the gains of the Kingdom and its people under the fiscal balance program, strengthening the basic principles of the state and society, ensuring financial sustainability and economic development.
The Assistant Foreign Minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's respect for the rules of international law and international human rights law, evident in its preparation of the universal periodic review of human rights and the national reports it submits in accordance with the highest international standards.
