Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs delivers lecture on "aspirations and goals of Kingdom of Bahrain in development of human rights"
The Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Doseri, delivered an online lecture today on “the aspirations and goals of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the progress and development of human rights,” as part of the training program “Advanced Certificate for Diplomats,” organized by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies.
He highlighted the Kingdom’s principles and values in the field of protecting and promoting human rights, noting the Bahraini efforts and achievements in that regard.
The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed the Kingdom of Bahrain's efforts to promote and protect human rights amid the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which received international acclaim. He pointed out the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the Kingdom to ensure the health and safety of all citizens and residents.
He also stressed the importance of raising the level of education and training and building the diplomatic, legal and human rights capabilities of members of the diplomatic and consular corps and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
