MOFA Undersecretary receives Malaysian ambassador and Indian Ambassador-Designate to Bahrain
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, today received in her office at the Ministry's General Court Malaysia's ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Agus Salim bin Yusof.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Ambassador, praising the existing friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia and stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness to further develop bilateral relations in a way that would benefit the two friendly countries and peoples.
For his part, the Malaysian ambassador expressed his happiness to have met the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and took pride in the progress of bilateral relations in various fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa also received the Ambassador- Designate of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava.
During the meeting, she affirmed the depth of the close historical relations between the two countries, which are based on solid foundations and on mutual respect, praising the role of the Indian community in the development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the ambassador success in his duties.
For his part, the Indian ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed his pride in meeting Dr. Shaikha Rana and stressed his country's keenness to strengthen its bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain to broader horizons, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
