The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met today in Abu Dhabi with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Dr. Zayani took pride in the strength, development and growth of the strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates in various fields, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness to strengthen cooperation and joint coordination with the UAE and push bilateral relations to broader horizons to meet Common aspirations.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the depth of the fraternal and historical ties between the two sides and expressed the aspiration of the two brotherly countries, with the support of their leaders, to enhance joint cooperation in all fields in a way that serves their common interests and the good benefit of their peoples.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination were discussed, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended from the Bahraini side by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs and from the UAE’s side by Assistant Minister for Political Affairs, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar.
