MoFA Undersecretary receives Ambassador-Designate of Republic of Singapore to Kingdom of Bahrain
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, met today at the Ministry’s General Court with the Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Singapore to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Wong Chow Ming.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary welcomed Ambassador Wong Chow Ming, hailing the advanced course of bilateral relations between Bahrain and friendly Singapore and its development in all areas. She also stressed Bahrain’s desire to promote its relations with Singapore at all levels in a way that meets their common aspirations, and to push forward coordination and consultation frameworks between the two countries in various regional and international issues of common interest in the benefit of the two friendly countries and people, wishing the Ambassador further success.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed Singapore’s pride in the solid friendship and distinct cooperation relations it shares with Bahrain and its constant development, underlining his country’s desire to further develop joint cooperation between the two countries to serve the common interest. He also lauded the outstanding efforts of Bahrain in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
The two sides also discussed ways to promote joint bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
